Description

A systematic review and network meta-analysis of 91 randomized controlled trials evaluated the impact of probiotic supplementation in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy. Results showed that adding probiotics to standard triple or quadruple regimens significantly improved eradication rates. Probiotic supplementation also reduced treatment-related adverse effects, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, epigastric discomfort, bloating, and taste disturbances. These findings support probiotics as an effective and safer adjunct to conventional H. pylori therapy.
