Description

A meta-analysis of 23 studies examined the effect of adding probiotics to standard triple therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication. Results showed eradication rates of 72.3% with triple therapy alone versus 80.7% with added probiotics. The findings suggest that probiotics enhance the efficacy and tolerability of triple therapy for H. pylori eradication without evident publication bias.
