Description

A study conducted among patients admitted for H. pylori infection evaluated the effectiveness of starting treatment after using a proton pump inhibitor for a short period was compared to starting both treatments simultaneously. Patients were divided into two groups: one began eradication treatment after taking lansoprazole alone for several weeks, while the other started both treatments together. The results showed no significant difference in treatment success between the two approaches, suggesting that the timing of proton pump inhibitor use does not affect overall treatment effectiveness.
