Description

A multidisciplinary group of experts across infectious diseases, otorhinolaryngology, internal medicine, family medicine, and public health collaborated on updated clinical guidelines in Korea. The collaboration involved 17 institutions and societies, including the Korean Society of Infectious Diseases, Korean Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Korean Association of Family Medicine, and the Korean Society for Chemotherapy. Participants included departments from major medical universities and hospitals across Seoul, Suwon, Daegu, and Goyang. Their collective expertise spans internal medicine, ENT, family practice, and healthcare policy, forming a comprehensive basis for evidence-based recommendations aimed at improving clinical outcomes and standardizing care practices nationwide.
